The World: Milan - Aegis purchases Italian marketer MenCompany

Global UK marcom group Aegis has continued its burst of acquisition activity, with the purchase of the Italian events marketing specialist MenCompany.

MenCompany specialises in tailor-made one-off events, roadshows and ambient marketing. Its clients include Intel, Indesit, Philips, Samsung and L'Oreal Group.

Robert Lerwill, the Aegis chief executive, said: "This move is consistent with our commitment to develop our skills in areas with the swiftest growth. We're developing a global network of these specialists to complement our existing strengths in media, out-of-home and digital."
