The World: Milan - Marco Salvaderi takes over music radio station

Marco Salvaderi, the former Mediaedge:cia Italy chief executive, is joining the Italian wireless group Finelco as the chief executive of the company's music-only radio station RMC2.

Salvaderi was removed from his post at WPP Italia, along with Marco Girelli, the chief executive of Group M in Italy, in March. His departure followed an investigation into his relationship with the former WPP Italy chief, Marco Benatti.

Launched last June and broadcasting in areas such as Milan, Turin, Capri, Cortina d'Ampezzo and Monaco, the station targets listeners between the ages of 25 and 40.
