The World: Milan - WPP rearranges Italian network management teams

WPP has reorganised the senior management teams at its Italian media networks following the departures of Marco Girelli and Paolo Salvaderi.

The pair were removed from their posts following a WPP investigation into their relationship with the former WPP Italy country leader, Marco Benatti.

Dominic Grainger, the EMEA managing director of Group M, will become the chief executive of the Italian operation, replacing Girelli.

The MindShare Italia chief executive, Stefano Sala, is taking on the same role at Mediaedge:cia Italia, replacing Salvaderi.

Giulio Malegori, who will continue to head MindShare Europe, will assume Sala's vacated position.
