The World: Moscow - BusinessWeek launches Russian edition

BusinessWeek has signed a deal with the Moscow-based Rodionov Publishing House to publish a Russian-language edition of BusinessWeek.

The first issue is slated for launch in September 2005.

The Russian edition of the magazine will be published weekly, and will have an initial circulation of 40,000. It will be available in both Russia and Ukraine. Editorial content will consist of selected material from the North America and international editions, alongside local editorial, which will be generated by Rodionov's team of journalists.

Rodionov publishes a number of business and consumer titles including the business weekly Profil, which has a circulation of 95,000.
