The World: Moscow - Recession won't hit media plans, survey reveals

The media consultancy and auditing company Joined Up Media has stated that it does not believe Russian advertisers will make significant changes to their media plans despite the economic downturn.

Following a survey conducted with 20 Russian advertisers, about half claimed they didn't believe that they would need to make major changes to their media plans in 2009.

The survey also saw advertisers predicting a wide range of forecasts of inflation for next year. Forecasts ranged from 5 per cent deflation through to 25 per cent inflation, with beer, technology and retail advertisers predicting the most positive figures.
