The World: New York - BMW sponsors Mad Men for second year running

BMW has signed up to become the exclusive sponsor of the third season of AMC's Mad Men.

The deal will mark the second year in a row that the car manufacturer has sponsored the programme.

The new series of Mad Men will air in the US on Sunday 18 August, with an extra two minutes of commercial time added to each episode to account for the higher licensing fee that AMC is paying to carry the show.
