The World: New York - Chant takes creative director role at FCB New York

Rodd Chant (pictured), the former Publicis Singapore executive creative director, has been appointed executive vice-president and executive creative director of FCB New York.

In his new role, Chant will focus on above-the-line advertising, digital and direct marketing. Reporting to the FCB New York chairman and chief creative officer, Christoph Becker, he will be responsible for a portfolio of clients including Diet Coke and Kraft.

Chant, who quit Publicis Singapore in January after only a year in the job, said: "Everyone at FCB New York has a passion for great creative work across all media and, better still, they know what great creative ideas are."
