The World: New York - Charles Schwab calls on- and offline media review

Charles Schwab, one of the only financial services companies to not take any federal bailout money, has called a review of its on- and offline media accounts.

The broker is talking to five media agencies about the business, including Carat, Universal McCann and the incumbent, PHD.

PHD first picked up the Charles Schwab consolidated media planning and buying business in 2005.

The agency's first task was to launch the brand's "talk to Chuck" campaign, which is still being used.

Charles Schwab's creative agency, Euro RSCG, and direct marketing shop, Rapp, are unaffected by the review.
