The World: New York - Diageo appoints JWT to Jose Cuervo account

JWT has extended its relationship with Diageo with its appointment to handle the North American creative assignment on Jose Cuervo, the largest US tequila brand.

Cuervo was supported by an estimated $30 million adspend in US media in 2007, according to TNS Media Intelligence. The appointment comes after Diageo sought new ideas for the brand from its roster agencies and put the results into research.
