The World: New York - DoH shortlists four agencies for tobacco account

The New York State Department of Health has shortlisted Arnold, Norlich, Gotham and Saatchi & Saatchi to pitch for its $35 million Tobacco Control creative account.

The quartet were selected after an initial round of meetings that involved more than 20 agencies.

Those shortlisted will participate in a final round of pitches for the account later this month, with the successful agency being appointed to the business in September.

The agency will work on the account for up to five years, and will create a series of campaigns that aim to persuade adult smokers to quit and prevent young people from taking up the habit.
