The World: New York - Lubars carries out cull of BBDO creative staff

BBDO New York has axed a senior level of creative staff as part of an agency restructuring programme, instigated by the new North American BBDO chief creative officer, Dave Lubars (pictured).

At least eight senior creatives, including Donna Weinheim, David Johnson, Rick Hansen and Harry Woods, have left the agency.

Lubars is expected to bring in new staff over the next few months. A spokesman for BBDO said: "Changes were made in the creative department as part of an ongoing process of aligning our resources with the direction the agency is going in to enable us to deliver the most compelling commercial content across all media."
