The World: New York - Martin Agency wins $90m Discover creative brief

The Martin Agency has been appointed to handle the $90 million Discover credit-card creative account.

The agency won the business following a four-way pitch against Young & Rubicam, Foote Cone & Belding and TM Advertising.

Discover, which is owned by Morgan Stanley, was forced to move out of Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco last November after the agency pitched for the $335 million Visa account.

The Visa business eventually moved to TBWA\Chiat\Day in California. Starcom USA in Chicago handles the company's media planning and buying account.
