The World: New York - Universal McCann nets Mini USA media buying

Mini USA has appointed Universal McCann to handle its US TV and radio media buying business.

The appointment was made without a pitch, and comes just five months after Mini's parent company, BMW, handed its media planning and buying to the agency.

Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, which previously handled TV and radio buying duties on the Mini account, will retain buying responsibilities for print and online. The agency will also continue to handle all of the brand's creative work.
