The World: New York - Virgin Mobile hands Mother $20m ad account

Virgin Mobile has consolidated its $20 million ad account into Mother New York.

The company has also announced it is reviewing its media planning account out of Fallon.

Howard Handler, Virgin Mobile's chief marketing officer, cited the closure of Fallon's New York office as the main reason for the move. Publicis' Starlink retains Virgin Mobile's media buying.

Mother has already handled projects for the company, including a viral aimed at parents highlighting the benefits of a Virgin pre-pay phone.
