The World: New York - Wrigley inks 'official chewing gum' deal with NBA

Wrigley has signed a deal with the National Basketball Association under which Big Red, Juicy Fruit, Winterfresh, Doublemint and Wrigley's Spearmint will become the "official chewing gums" of the sport's governing body.

The deal extends a long link between the company and sport and, in particular, with the Chicago Cubs baseball team, whose home is Wrigley Field.

Under the deal, Wrigley and the NBA will develop integrated marketing platforms for the five Wrigley brands.
