The World: Paris - PGM strengthens digital media with Pole Nord purchase

Publicis Groupe Media in France has strengthened its digital media offering with the acquisition of the digital and e-mail marketing specialist Pole Nord.

The acquisition follows PGM's launch of the Zed digital network in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Denuo in the US.

Raphael Zier, the Pole Nord president and founder, will head all of PGM's digital units in France.

Sebastian Danet, the general manager of PGM France, said: "The objective of this acquisition is to provide our French company with unique expertise in the market, allowing both Zed digital and Starcom digital to provide their clients with fully integrated digital solutions."

Pole Nord works with clients including Voyages SNCF and Discovery Channel.
