The World: Paris - WSJ Europe plans glossy fashion and lifestyle launch

The Wall Street Journal Europe is launching a glossy lifestyle and fashion magazine across the continent.

Using the working title Style Journal, the quarterly magazine will be published in conjunction with Show Media. It will launch in April and be distributed free with the newspaper.

Edited by the former Esquire and Arena editor Peter Howarth, the magazine will target high-income readers and feature fashion and lifestyle stories.

Jon Housman, the WSJ Europe managing director, said luxury-goods advertisers had responded well to the plan.
