The World: San Francisco - Harrah's hands extra business to BBDO West

BBDO West has boosted its links with Harrah's, one of the world's largest providers of branded casino entertainment.

BBDO will become the agency of record for the group's Harrah's Resort, Showboat, Harvey's and Grand Biloxi brands.

BBDO West won the creative assignment for Harrah's Las Vegas and Atlantic City operations in February. Industry sources say the consolidation will virtually double its business with BBDO to almost $100 million.

David Norton, the Harrah's chief marketing officer, said: "We are excited to be expanding our relationship with BBDO to include multiple aspects of our marketing communications programme."
