The World: Sao Paulo - Isobar boosts Latin American presence

Isobar, the Aegis-owned digital network, has bolstered its presence in Latin America with the acquisition of the Brazilian communications agency Age.

The eight-year-old agency has a client list that includes Adidas and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Nigel Morris, Isobar's chief executive, said: "The Brazilian market represents almost 40 per cent of the total Latin American ad market and has grown at an average of 18 per cent annually from 2002 to 2007."

He added: "This market is strategically important to our company and we are committed to further expansion."
