The World: Seoul - Emirates appoints Euro RSCG Next for Korea launch

Euro RSCG Next has been chosen by Emirates as its agency in Korea in preparation for its direct Dubai-Seoul route, which launches on 1 May 2005.

Euro RSCG, which holds the airline's account in Japan, won the contract after a three-way pitch against Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO, which handle the North Asia and South-East Asia accounts respectively. The appointment includes interactive, marketing services and media buying and planning.

The new route aims to capitalise on the growing trend for Korean companies to have regional headquarters in Dubai.
