The World: Seoul - LG invites shops to pitch for consolidated media account

LG, the Korean consumer electronics giant, has called a regional media review to consolidate all of its planning and buying duties into one agency.

LG's media is currently handled by a group of local agencies. The company has invited a number of major multinational agencies, including Group M, Aegis Media and Starcom, to pitch.

The review includes China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Australian portion of the business is also up for grabs, but will not be moved out of Carat until March 2007.
