The World: Singapore - J&J agencies face performance-related pay

The US healthcare giant Johnson & Johnson is implementing performance-related payment for its Asian agencies.

The system, which has already been introduced to J&J agencies in other parts of the world, will affect DDB, Lowe and McCann Erickson, along with J&J's media agencies, Initiative and Universal McCann.

Performance-based remuneration for creative agencies is a growing trend in Asia-Pacific, with approximately 50 per cent of all multinational companies now using the arrangement in the region.
