The World: Singapore - Leo Burnett lands Singapore Sports Council job

The Singapore Sports Council has awarded its creative duties to Leo Burnett after a six-month pitch.

The appointment is the first time that the SSC has worked with an ad agency on a retained basis.

It has handed Leo Burnett a one-year contract, with the possibility of extending terms later in the year.

Leo Burnett will now produce strategic and creative work for a range of SSC initiatives, such as the "Let's Play" sports movement and the promotion of Team Singapore athletes in the forthcoming 2009 South-East Asia Games.
