The World: Singapore - Madon takes BBDO creative helm as Wee departs

Francis Wee, the executive creative director of BBDO's Singapore office, has resigned without a job to go to after four years at the agency. Farrokh Madon, the creative director, will replace him.

Chris Thomas (pictured), the chairman and chief executive of BBDO Asia-Pacific, said: "I've known Francis for a long time. He's hugely talented and has boundless energy and ambition. It's time for him to develop a broader role in an organisation that needs regional leadership. That isn't the BBDO model, but it is a model that will be suited to Francis, his capabilities and talents."
