The World: Singapore - WPP buys up 10AM Communications hotshop

WPP has bolstered its presence in Singapore with the acquisition of the creative hotshop 10AM Communications by its Bates 141 network.

The agency will continue to operate as a separate entity under its founder, Lim Sau Hoong, and will report to the Bates 141 chairman, Jeffrey Yu.

Sir Martin Sorrell, the WPP chief executive, said: "We are delighted to welcome a creative jewel such as 10AM to the group."

Hong said: "With extensive network coverage across Asia, Bates 141 can add muscle to 10AM's growth and provide the network strength for our clients seeking regional coverage."
