The World: Sydney - Clemenger BBDO pulls out of tourism review

Clemenger BBDO has pulled out of the $169 global Tourism Australia review because of the length of the shortlist, according to sources.

Seven agencies have been invited to contest the business. One source close to the review said the size of the list was "absolutely ridiculous".

Jim Moser, the Clemenger BBDO managing director, denied the length of the list had precipitated the agency's withdrawal.

He said: "We have made a business decision not to participate so we can concentrate on other priorities and new-business opportunities."
