The World: Sydney - Iris' Josh Thomson steps up to Asia-Pacific CEO

Iris has promoted Josh Thomson, the head of its in-house strategic consultancy service, Concise, to the position of regional chief executive for Asia-Pacific.

In his role, Thomson will oversee Iris' Delhi, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney operations, as well as the opening of any new offices in the region.

Thomson replaces Richard Bleasdale, who is leaving the agency at the end of the year to pursue other interests.

He will be based in Iris' Sydney office and will report directly to Ian Millner, the joint chief executive of Iris Worldwide.
