Jetstar first announced that it was reviewing its media account in January. ZenithOptimedia, which had been the incumbent on the account for five years, was invited to repitch for the business.
Jetstar's creative shop, The Big Red Agency, remains unaffected by the appointment.
Based in Melbourne, Jetstar is a low-cost airline owned by Qantas. The company currently spends about $30 million each year on advertising, and has insisted that it will not reduce its media spend this year despite the uncertain economic climate.
