The World: Sydney - Retailer David Jones puts media work up for grabs

David Jones, Australia's second-largest department store, has called a review of its AUS$38 million media planning and buying business.

MediaCom, the incumbent, will repitch for the account against OMD, Universal McCann and Mitchell & Partners.

David Jones wants to maintain its marketing spend as the country's economy improves and to put greater emphasis on digital.

The company's creative account, held by Saatchi & Saatchi, is not affected.
