The World: Warsaw - JWT appoints Polish executive creative director

Darek Zatorski (pictured) has joined JWT Poland and Eastern Europe as its executive creative director from Leo Burnett Warsaw, where he has held the position of creative director since 1999.

Craig Davies, the chief creative officer of JWT Worldwide, said: "Darek typifies the talent emerging from the new Europe. He has an infectious creative energy and is relentless in his pursuit of big, mould-breaking ideas."

Zatorski, 44, joined Leo Burnett in 1993 as an art director. He was promoted to associate director in 1997. In 2000, Leo Burnett Warsaw became the first Polish agency to win a gold at Cannes, for its work on Ikea.
