The World: Warsaw - Leo Burnett appoints European regional chief

Jarek Ziebinski (pictured), the managing director of Leo Burnett Poland, has been promoted to the post of chairman and chief executive of Central and Eastern Europe at Leo Burnett EMEA.

Reporting to the Burnett EMEA regional president, Richard Pinder, he will assume full responsibility for all Burnett operations across 11 countries, including Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. He will also sit on Burnett's regional executive committee representing all of the offices.

Burnett's agencies in Central and Eastern Europe account for 12 per cent of the network's overall EMEA revenue. Poland is the group's largest operation.
