World: Warsaw - Leo Burnett wins Hoop account

The Polish soft drinks giant Hoop SA has handed its entire portfolio of still and carbonated drinks to Leo Burnett following a nine-way pitch.

The incumbent, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Grey were among the other agencies involved.

Leo Burnett will now develop an autumn campaign to increase Hoop's market share and mount an assault on the mineral water sector with its Arctic brand. Arctic has recently increased its exposure through its sponsorship of the Polish version of the Big Brother TV show. Hoop Cola, meanwhile, is Poland's second-biggest-selling soft drink behind Coca-Cola and remains ahead of Pepsi in the country.
