The World: Warsaw - Lubowska rises to MEC Poland chief executive

Anna Lubowska, the former managing director of Mediaedge:cia Poland, has been promoted to chief executive of MEC's Polish office and its entire Central and Eastern European operation.

In her new role, she will work with local market managing directors to build MEC's stature in the region through organic growth and acquisitions.

Lubowska will also be responsible for building the Polish agency's presence across Central and Eastern Europe while driving new business and developing international clients.

She will report to Melanie Varley, the chief executive of MEC Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and David Lhota, the chief executive of GroupM Central and Eastern Europe.
