The World: Warsaw - Starcom wins £20m Kompania Piwowarska media

Kompania Piwowarska has reappointed Starcom to its £20 million media planning and buying account just seven months after switching to Macroscope OMD.

Boguslaw Biszof, the marketing vice-president at Kompania Piwowarska, said in a statement: "After analysing the service offered by Macroscope OMD, we decided to return to Starcom, which was also shortlisted during the pitch.

"The agency has offered us new terms and I hope that working with it will bring us a new quality of media planning and buying, as well as innovation."

Jakub Bierzynski, the chief executive of OMD, said of Kompania Piwowarska's decision: "We fulfilled all the terms of the contract and were waiting for an evaluation that didn't take place."
