Y&R quits race for place on $400m Kellogg roster

- Young & Rubicam, New York, has dropped out of the race to become the fourth agency on Kellogg's $400 million agency roster, citing client conflict with its Kraft Foods account as the reason.

The withdrawal leaves Ammirati Puris Lintas, BBDO Worldwide, Grey Advertising, Lowe & Partners/SMS and the Martin Agency to fight for a place on Kellogg's $400 million roster.

Currently its three strong roster comprises Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson and Burrell Communications. A decision is expected later this week.
