– The Yell UK Web Awards 2000 launches this week with three new categories that see traditionally consumer oriented awards look towards the business community.

The new categories being introduced are: Best Site for Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs), Best E-commerce Site (business- to-business) and Best E-commerce Site (business- to-consumer).

The awards were first launched five years ago to recognise of the wealth of creativity and originality in the UK internet industry.

Last year's winners included lastminute.com, digitalvision.ltd.uk and the cartoon- network.co.uk. Internet users can vote for and nominate sites at yell.com and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on July 11.
