Zenith Media hires Brady to head new sponsorship brand

Zenith Media is setting up a sponsorship division and has hired Tim

Brady, the managing director of the former ITV sales division TSMS

Connector, to head the new group.

Brady will develop media, sports marketing and advertiser-funded

programming deals across Zenith's client portfolio. The responsibility

for similar deals was previously handled across the media agency and

through an external consultant.

The division, which will have its own brand name, will be formally

launched within two months of Brady's arrival. Brady has extensive

experience in sponsorship and was the first person to be appointed by

ITV to sell programme sponsorship.

Brady said: 'Since the end of TSMS, I have been exploring the chance to

start such a division with a number of agencies. This opportunity is a

massive one and gives me the chance to create a wide range of new ideas

to benefit Zenith's clients.'

Tim Greatrex, the deputy managing director of Zenith Media, added: 'This

new division represents a further fulfilment of our vision to deliver

our clients' total communications solutions and follows in the

successful footsteps of Zenith Interactive Solutions and Zed Media. Tim

is a top and respected operator in this field.'

Brady quit TSMS at the end of the year, following the ITV sales house's

merger into Granada Enterprises. TSMS, which was owned by United News &

Media, was bought by Granada in the summer.
