Ziff-Davis TV appoints FCB

- ZDTV, a division of the computer magazine publisher Ziff-Davis, has awarded its estimated £6 million ($10 million) brand development, advertising and direct marketing account to Foote, Cone & Belding San Francisco without a pitch.

FCB is ZDTV's first agency and will be responsible for all strategic communications including consumer and trade.

ZDTV is a 24-hour cable network that covers computing, the internet and gaming. Since its launch just over three months ago, the network claims have attracted around 8 million subscribers.
