Job Title: Business Developer - Technology Recruitment

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 + bonuses and benefits

Location: Central London

Aquent is the world's largest specialist creative, digital and marketing recruiter with offices in seven countries. In London, we are looking for a Business Developer who wants to engage with clients who are market and brand leaders in the Technology space. As part of our lively, highly creative office you will be working alongside an existing Sales team and a large number of Delivery Agent specialists who will allow you to focus on building your business.

We are well-known in the creative and marketing sector, and you will be able to call on our expertise as you grow your client base, but be aware that this is definitely a new business role. There is also an element of account management involved as you build your desk - you will be liaising not only with the clients that you bring on, but also with our expert team of Delivery Agents whose role it is to find the top candidates your clients are looking for.

Please note, this is not an IT Recruitment role. We are looking for someone with a strong network of contacts within the Technology space who would use our recruitment service for their creative, design and marketing positions.

About the role

    Build a pipeline of new clients via phone calls, client meetings, attending networking events, LinkedIn networking, regular emails and social media engagementDeveloping relationships and cross-selling the services of our creative divisions into technology clientsManaging client accounts to establish their hiring needs and ensure Aquent is their first port of call when hiringWorking with Delivery Agents to ensure they understand client needs and can deliver the best candidates.

About you

    Although our brand name is well-known, this is a sales role so you will need tenacity, drive and determination to build your deskPrevious new business development, sales and relationship building skills are requiredWhile this is not a traditional 360 recruitment role, an understanding of recruitment would be beneficialExcellent communication and relationship building skills.
