Dragonfly Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading exhibition organiser to appoint a Sales Director to lead their entire sales division.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be managing all aspects of the sales division including ownership of all revenue targets.

The Sales Director is pivotal to driving change, revenue and success. You will be working collaboratively with the rest of the senior leadership team and provide direction and inspiration to revenue generating staff.

Strategy is a key part of the role. You will be responsible for aligning sales output with business strategy, and work with the rest of the leadership team on strategic planning. As expected, the Sales Director will lead on identifying new business opportunities, clients and revenue streams. You will manage relationships with partners and lead on all joint ventures.

Setting budgets, reporting and forecasting are key, and you will ensure that sales output delivers to targets and meets business objectives.

The Sales Director will also build peer support and strong internal-company relationships, and take a leading role in talent management.

This is a senior leadership role and requires an exhibitions heavy weight with a solid amount of exhibitions experience, and strong commercial acumen. We are looking for an ambitious and charismatic business leader who is capable of delivering success at this level, in a challenging environment.
