We're looking for a Head of Project Management for a global research agency based in Central London. Research Agency background! 4-5 years' agency experience. £30-40K Perm

Their agency has grown significantly over the past few years,and they're looking for people who enjoy being really hands on with project management - about 90% of the role would be working on projects and 10% operational. They're a full service strategic agency that specialises in delivering insight to many different global clients. The Head of PM will be leading a team of about 4-5 people. Whether it's small tactical studies, or complex international strategic work, their clients trust them to consistently deliver the research solutions they need. Some of their clients include BT, BBC Worldwide, Disney, Boots, Nivea, and Tesco etc. Their quant department has developed a reputation for delivering creative solutions to some of the most challenging industry briefs. So, they need people to come in and support and manage some of these exciting ongoing and new projects, as well as working together with a hands-on approach that both the clients and team value.
They will have responsibility for managing quantitative projects, and the ideal candidates would have proven experience in managing market research projects (in an agency environment) and would be able to come in and hit the ground running.
You will be doing an array of project work, working alongside consultants, researchers and clients within budget and time limits.
The candidate would:

  • Be in charge of designing project flow
  • Autonomously run projects end-to-end, being responsible for personally managing all stages of the project lifecycle on a given project
  • Collate costs and timings for proposals, and using expertise to advise on methodology and sampling
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Be responsible for checking inputs and outputs to a high level of accuracy
  • Have full accountability for own / team outputs, ensuring high quality on all projects
  • Breadth of project and sector experience
  • Be capable of advising the team on best practice project design and implementation, as well as training the team on quality & best practice for operational processes

  • 'owning the room': interacting with high level stakeholders competently, leading meetings comfortably, answering tough questions convincingly
