Key Focus of the role:

The role of the Sales Account Manager is to manage a designated portfolio of advertising agencies, OOH specialists and direct clients and build relationships with key personnel.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

To develop profitable relationships with key contacts within their designated agency and client base by means of telephone, face to face meetings and presentations

To sell across entire product range and work closely with relevant teams across the company

Formulate plans to retain and grow existing business and bring on new clients

To meet designated targets for client meetings and sales proposals

To deliver a monthly, quarterly and annual sales target

To play an active role in supporting other members of the sales team

To contribute to pitches via brainstorms, general support etc.

Skills & Competencies Required:

Min 2+ years media sales experience with at least 1 year at an OOH media owner or specialist

Solid contacts within the top 50 media agencies and related OOH specialists

Highly organised with the ability to work without direct supervision, to prioritise, to work under pressure & show attention to detail

A proven record of dealing with blue-chip clients and senior level contacts on the planning and buying departments at media agency and OOH specialists

Articulate and self-confident with strong personal communication skills plus excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong relationship building skills and able to represent the company internally and externally

A comprehensive understanding of the OOH market and the wider media landscape including press and radio

Ability to generate new business for the company in a multi-media environment, to take budget from other media such as radio/press

Solid experience of presenting one to one and to large groups at agencies and OOH specialists

A confident and strong negotiator

Understanding and working knowledge of media systems such as TGI and Route

Proficient use of Microsoft Office and in-house database systems

A reliable team worker with a positive attitude towards working hours and undertaking ad- hoc tasks to support the team and the business
