Stunning, boutique design and branding agency seeks an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to work on a range of exceptional FMCG brands.

In a nutshell – The Account Manager Role
The agency are looking for an experienced, hands-on Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their exciting, creative, forward-looking team.
You need to be passionate about design because stunning design is what you will work on in this role. You will have an opinion on brands, know what you like and don’t like and how you can influence change for the better.
Being a leading brand design and marketing consultancy means they get to work with incredibly talented people and some fantastic companies, and if that gets you going they’d love to hear from you.
The Account Manager or Senior Account Manager will report into an Account Director and you will manage an Account Executive too. The agency are looking for someone who has 1-2 years’ experience at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level.
It is preferred that you come from a small – mid-sized agency so you understand the dynamic and demands of working in that type of environment as from time to time the role can be very ‘hands on’ – it’s not a role where you will bogged down with agency processes!
The Ideal Account Manager / Senior Account Manager
The ideal Account Manager / Senior Account Manager will have a design / branding agency background but an integrated agency background wouldn’t rule you out either.
What is key however is a knowledge of print production (and ideally digital print production) and exposure to branding / design projects.
Packaging design / POS design experience would be a nice to have also but isn’t essential.

The Account Manager / Senior Account Manager will work with the most creative, open-minded clients on the planet – nice people who trust you and your team to come up with some cracking ideas on a daily basis.

You’re so self-motivated, you’ve already applied for the job and you haven’t even read the description yet! Account Manager / Senior Account Manager Role Requirements
You will look after the agency’s clients to ensure they deliver their promises. Sometimes, they need to give people a little reminder, a push or even a nudge with tact and diplomacy!
You will put together proposals, estimates, specifications, schedules and briefs. Occasionally you will turn your hand to a bit of planning, research and creative brainstorming.
The agency’s Account Managers have even been reported seen wielding a scalpel, branding a burnisher and making a mock-up or two. Their Account Managers all have superhuman powers!
Typical projects include brand positioning, packaging, digital and events - it’s an exciting and diverse Account Manager role.
You will need…
• at least four years’ experience in account management
• a working knowledge of print and production processes
• to be comfortable taking ultimate responsibility for quality, deadlines and budgets
• to be able to keep work on brief (as well as on schedule)
• equally strong literacy, numeracy and administrative skills
• to have worked on digital projects as well as print
• to love working with people who treat you like a member of their family
• to live and breathe the brands the agency work with (they only work with brands they’d consume themselves)
• to love river views stretching the length of the Thames (they have riverside studios)
It would be a real bonus if you…
• love dogs (they occasionally have dogs in the studio)
• bake cakes (they have their own kitchen)
The agency always start by asking you – what sort of a salary are you looking for? You tell them what you’re likely to cost and they will tell you if their pockets are deep enough.
