We are looking for a driven and energetic Internal Communications Consultant for a 3 month (minimum - likely extensions) contract with a large corporation undergoing some large business change due to a recent merger. This is a busy and exciting role to support the Head of Internal Communications during this busy time.

In this role you will: -
- Be responsible for the ongoing editorial consistency and content management for company wide internal communications publications, news and employee communications programme.
- Provide a first point of contact and communications support for the company.
- Work together with the Content Manager and Head of Internal Communications to provide input to the ongoing development of the overall communications content plan and to support its delivery through the provision of effective content across the company portfolio.

Skills and experience required:-

- Degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years internal communications experience, ideally within a corporate/retail environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong word, excel, PowerPoint skills
- A proven ability to write and deliver 'daily news' communications
- Manage complex communication processes or programmes
- Work effectively and collaboratively with key business areas and partners to align communication messages, activity and delivery
- Driven, determined and enthusiastic
