Sales Manager, £45K basic+commission.
Our client are a highly successful media company averaging over 40% growth each year for the last six years (compared to an average of c.8% for the exhibition industry as a whole). Ranked at No.10 in the 2016 Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 – specialises in high-value, content-driven events and the nurturing of B2B or professional communities.
Due to continued success they are looking for a Sales Manager to work across one of their shows! This show is now the largest gathering of niche professionals within that industry in the UK knocking it's biggest rival off the top slot, who held this position for over 40 years.
You will be responsible for exhibition and sponsorship sales revenue and ensuring targets are hit. You will also be required to work with the marketing team in producing exhibitor promotion. Reporting to the Event Director, you will need excellent sales and key account skills both face to face and on the phone, the ability to write highly professional sales proposals, ability to grasp the fundamentals of the dentistry profession.
You will also ideally have a demonstrable track record of successful sales experience. If you want to make your mark in the exhibition industry this is an ideal opportunity.
