Marketing Director - Entertainment Show
My client, an extremely well-known name in the Exhibition industry is looking for an excellent Marketing Manager/Director for a new Consumer Event launch based on an extremely popular TV programme.
As the Marketing Manager/Director you will work with the Event Director in this hands on role to plan the marketing campaign for the event and will assume overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the campaign, including strategic planning, development of partnerships with media and third party organisations, reporting and control of the marketing budget.
You will offer innovative and creative marketing strategies that will make an impact and ultimately drive ticket sales and online traffic. You will be a self-starting energetic, autonomous and results orientated individual with a huge desire to succeed. This is very much a target driven role with a high emphasis on all marketing leading to the ultimate goal of selling tickets and getting visitors to the event. Your role is to ensure the correct target market is reached to achieve targeted attendance numbers.
To be successful in this role, you should have an understanding and experience in event marketing and an excellent understanding of social media marketing as well as the ability to grow and develop an existing visitor database to deliver a targeted visitor attendance. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as is excellent time and project management skills. Along with the relevant tertiary qualification in marketing and event management or equivalent you will have highly developed interpersonal skills.
The marketing person will need to provide a comprehensive marketing plan to convey the message of the event and ensure the awareness is strong amongst the target audience. The campaign will include press, social media, PR and TV advertising. Partnerships with known brands and sponsors will also play a key part. You will need previous consumer show and marketing experience.
