You will be working with the wider media team to help clients with their social media strategies, but also helping to build up more business. We need someone who isn’t going to be scared to get on the phone and build a relationship with someone new. We need someone who has passion, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial mind-set. You will also need to be a confident self-starter who can pitch digital across multiple platforms to clients, agencies and media owners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities you will have as the new Digital & Social Strategy Manager:
- Supports the Media Director and digital team on social media campaign management and Active digital barter bookings.
- To strategise, buy, optimize and report on local and international social media campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Utilise personal/technical expertise and Social Media insights to establish a comprehensive understanding of client’s social marketing objectives and cultivates the client relationship to position the Company for future business.
- Work with Active digital team to develop digital media owners and approve digital barter campaigns
- To develop a barter understanding and offer solutions for digital partners across Actives portfolio
- Stays informed on industry trends, developments and new opportunities.
- Stays current of the latest social platform developments and digital trading environment.
- Cultivates strong relationships with clients, digital media owners and agency partners.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum requirement of two years of social media experience.
- Proficiency in the following social platforms preferred: Facebook Business Manager, Ads Manager, and Power Editor as well as Twitter Ads platform and Google Adwords.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Agency and marketing experience
- Understanding of programmatic
