Job Title: Video Sales Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £35,000 + comms + benefits

Founded in July 2011, our client is one of the fastest growing digital media businesses in the UK and the European leaders in Search Retargeting. Global brands and media planning agencies use our client’s proprietary Search targeting technology to pin point target users online based on their recent searches. This innovative product gives advertisers the ability to harness the accuracy of search and combine it with the high impact and scalable nature of display advertising. Our client is currently the largest holder of Keyword Search Data in Europe, providing in depth granularity for campaign optimisation and reporting.

The successful candidate will be expected to sell the company’s proprietary technology to advertising buyers within the UK. Therefore, our client is looking for a highly driven Sales Manager who can demonstrate proven sales and account management history, as well as video and technology knowledge. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must have extensive media buyer/planner contacts at key UK agencies, preferably within broadcast AV teams, and be prepared to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

- Prospecting, researching, meeting, pitching and closing deals with key UK clients

- Driving awareness and adoption of the company’s offering through agency and client education

- Present the company’s offering in a thought out way in individual and large group meetings

- Providing innovative solutions to our client’s business problems

- Negotiating and closing deals

- Overseeing campaigns from inception through to completion, and feeding back detailed post campaign analysis

- Staying up to date with industry developments and trends

 

Experience:

-  2-3 years of proven digital media sales experience, preferably online video experience

-  Knowledge of UK TV market dynamics, preferably broadcaster experience

-  Experience of pitching and closing UK media agencies, EMEA is a plus

-  Strong track record of performance against targets

-  Ability to open new business and revenue streams including cold calling

-  Excellent communication skills

-  Self starter, intuitive, strategic thinker, persistent and highly motivatd

- Solid understanding of the video marketplace, and the role of video within the wider mix

- Strong agency contact is a bonus!
