Due to rapid growth, Universal McCann Birmingham is looking to recruit a PPC executive to support the digital media team. You will be based within the media department of a large full service agency and will work for a variety of clients in industries including property, travel, retail (ecommerce), finance and charity. This role offers great potential to succeed and grow in a thriving, highly successful agency.

Main duties

  • Keyword research
  • Planning and implementing strategic PPC campaigns in Google and Bing
  • Planning and implementing Adwords for video campaigns
  • Analysis, optimisation and management of PPC campaigns to ensure optimal performance and efficiencies
  • Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports using Excel pivot tables
  • Assisting with the preparation of PowerPoint presentations
  • Independently learning about new innovations in paid search and proactively applying them to campaigns

Key requirements

  • Experience in managing PPC campaigns in Google is essential
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and DoubleClick Search is preferable
  • Pro-actively manage and optimize campaigns with minimum supervision
  • Computer literate, i.e. good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel in particular
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Concern for and a superb attention to detail
  • Ability to work to multiple deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize workloads
  • Good telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 1 year’s PPC experience
  • Educated to degree level
  • A proactive and positive “can do” attitude, flexible and self-driven
