The Branded Content offering at ITN Productions is growing at a rapid pace, doubling revenues YOY.  This role will be pivotal in continuing to drive this momentum forward into 2017 and beyond.  It will take team management and budget responsibility and importantly, it will entail pitching and winning new business.  The role will work to build ITN Productions’ Branded Content capability and the need to continually identify innovative opportunities and strategies that will allow ITN Productions to be highly competitive in the branded content space.


  • Responsible for building the client base (new and existing relationships) and product offering for Branded Content
  • Develop the ITN Productions Advertising Production strategy in conjunction with the Director-Advertising Production and the Head of TV Commercials
  • Implement departmental and companywide strategy – managing teams through change
  • Line manage, appraise and coach the Branded Content business development, account management and production teams, setting high standards at all times
  • Achieve set revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Continuously stay in tune with the market through market research, keeping across any market changes and opportunities, and identifying trends and translating these into revenue streams
  • Develop and maintain a wide network of relationships with corporate clients, direct-to-brands,  media and creative agencies, broadcasters and publishers
  • Accountable for accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting, as well as managing profitability and margins across production
  • Report on the sales pipeline and ensure pipelines are always healthy
  • Lead on the development of new production innovation and ideas to capitalise on market trends– drive innovation amongst the team
  • Develop pitching documents and respond to business proposals – liaising with producers to manage creative solution, budget and profitability
  • Understand pricing models to ensure accurate and realistic costs are put to the client
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contract renewals
  • Champion change, engaging your direct reports in the process through supportive, clear and accurate communications.


  • Deep understanding of the Branded Content market
  • Successful track record in new business/business development
  • Strong understanding of digital innovation in the Branded Content market
  • Must have a strong market presence and have an extensive and relevant relationship network in the Branded Content industry, particularly with agencies and brands
  • Ability to unlock new revenue stream
  • Natural commercial instinct
  • Ability to set and exceed targets
  • Excellent people management skills including experience of managing change and motivating teams – the ability to drive teams forward
  • Evidence of transformational leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and experience in confidently pitching in front of large and senior audiences and stakeholders
  • Highly developed creative skills and awareness
  • Ability to convert a concept into a working project
  • Experience putting together pitch documents
  • An understanding of the production process
  • Innovative thinker and ability to drive innovation from others
  • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience in negotiating on all aspects of a deal
  • An understanding of ITN and the personal responsibility for cross-company co-operation
